Considerations to approaching service delivery with reduced resources while still delivering on great customer experience and satisfaction will be part of the core content as will learnings on how small investments in technology can yield significant benefits and efficiencies.

Aimed at senior operational teams in front office, back office, and accommodation services this module will focus on how to drive efficiencies within the business by modifying servicing processes to identify and implement improvements. Benefits of enabling a flexible, agile working team approach and adapting a business focused mindset into service delivery by maximising use of consumer data to improve service delivery and freeing up employee time via small scale investment in technology will also be a key part of this module.

Aimed at hotel leadership teams, this session will take a wide view of cost considerations and reduction tactics across the business. Areas that will be addressed include labour forecasting and effective rostering, negotiating contracts, technology driven purchasing, managing utilities and insurance effectively, and the importance of management reporting to make data-based decisions.

Towards the end of the online modules for the operations managers, the business will be asked to propose the priority that they wish to work on that has been informed by programme content to drive efficiencies, reorganise service delivery or reduce costs. With the guidance of the business advisor, an appropriate KPI to demonstrate impact will be agreed. This phase will be conducted over a number of online sessions, arranged at a time to suit the business. The business advisor will provide expert guidance and help maintain momentum to ensure effective implementation of change.
